Shalom, and thanks for allowing me the opportunity to share
with you a little bit about ourselves and the Praise and Worship ministry that Adonai has charged us with since we came into a deeper knowledge of our King and Creator, YHWH and this everlasting covenant He has made with His people Israel. In 2006 my beautiful bride Debora shared with me a burden upon her heart. It was then that The Father began speaking to us about pursuing our Father’s heart deeper and coming into a deeper knowledge of who He is, His Torah, Shabbat and His Feast days and who we are in relationship to Him. When we began this walk in the Hebraic Roots movement we were overjoyed at the eternal truths and the beautiful heritage that for so long had been veiled to us.
The years roll on and as we go Debora and I continue to be amazed by the beautiful people YHVH allows to enter into our lives. Everywhere we go we seek to be a blessing and it seems the people of Yah seek to return the blessing back. From the mountains of Kentucky down through Johnson City Tennessee, down along the coast of Charleston South Carolina, across to Northern Georgia and continuing south into multiple friends and fellowships in Florida, we continue to find like-minded folks grafted in who desire to worship in Spirit and in Truth. You'll discover we're blue-collared workers who work for a living loving YHVH, and the kind of folks we gravitate to are hard working people who carry their faith in their hearts, their family and conversations, in the workplace, within their fellowships and around the campfire.
Our passion and purpose is to serve and to magnify our Messiah, yielding to Him, participating and allowing Him to do that daily transformational work in our hearts by engraving His Torah upon our hearts. The Psalmist says “My lips will shout for joy, when I sing praises to you; my soul also, which you have redeemed. (Ps. 71:23) In the days of Temple service the priests offered prayers and sacrifices unto YHWH. In the standing prayer, also known as The Amidah we open with the words “My LORD, open my lips that my mouth may declare your praise.” As followers of YHWH, we want our words to be meaningful and cause His Kingdom to come down upon the earth as Yeshua taught us to pray, “Thy Kindgom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven” (Matthew 6:10).
Hebrews 13:15 says, “Through Him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.” This is what was known as the elevation or “Olah” offering as given daily and every evening on the Altar in the court of the tabernacle. As a royal priesthood and living tabernacle, today our our thoughts and our words become the Olah offering unto YHWH that is a sweet-smelling sacrifice unto Him. May we enter into Praise and Worship in such a way where with a
spirit of obedience, humility and reverence YHWH will reign down His Holy Spirit and refresh, restore and unite us as His chosen people. "Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God? - (Psalms 77:13). Shalom.
